Our knives are forged from old files that have outlived their usefulness as tools. We heat, hammer, and shape the steel - designed for cutting and holding an edge - and finally re-harden and re-temper the blades. Our handles are made from recycled wood, oiled or waxed, and held in place with hand-hammered copper rivets.
We also make wooden cheese/cutting boards. These boards are treated with a food-safe beeswax & mineral oil finish, and make a great pairing with our knives.
